Our Mission
We exist to alleviate poverty, improve living standards and promote economic discipline through microfinance, financial literacy and biblical teachings across Ghana and other parts of Africa in a sustainable manner.
OUR STORY
Empowerment Foundation FNGO is a Christian-based Financial Non-Governmental Organization licensed
by the Central Bank of Ghana (BOG) since 2014 to operate as a non-governmental organization that uses microfinance program to achieve its social and religious objectives.
The name “Empowerment Foundation” is a new name that replaced its initially registered name “SALT To Ghana” since 2023 through a restructuring and rebranding arrangements. Our main objective is to make spiritual impact in people’s lives by pointing them to Christ through gospel preaching and other biblical teachings.
We seek to achieve such objective by providing economic and social empowerment to the economically less privileged and marginalized people of our African and Ghanaian society through our micro-loan
program.



Our Impact
1,000 plus individuals, small & medium enterprises have benefited from our microfinance program since 2014.
About 85% of our clients and beneficiaries are female underscoring our key objective of empowering the many marginalized women of Ghana, West Africa
We have reached over 2000 people with Biblical Teachings, Financial Literacy, Health and Environmental Education through our capacity building program
Our PWD (people with disability) Loan program to be launched in 2025 is set to transform minds from disability to different abilities.
We have provided employment to 50 plus people since 2014 in our society of high unemployment rate.
